Outreach Initiatives

St. Peter's has a strong ministry of outreach into the wider community through

Mustard Seed

Ronald Mcdonald House

Every third Tuesday of the month a team of volunteers, led by Delores James, creates a meal for the Ronald McDonald House in Calgary. Volunteers also share the meal & fellowship with families, frequently sending meals to family members sitting with sick children in the Alberta Children's Hospital

Garage Dogs (organized by Ohana Cafe)

Working together with Henry Wisewood High School lunches for the students are hosted by the church. This takes the form of "Garage Dogs" where hot dogs are served and a Shrove Tuesday pancake breakfast that is actually a lunch.

Food Pantry

Lunches are available for those who request help.

Christmas Hampers

Every year the church collects donations to create hampers. These donations are in time time (to sort or deliver) or in material goods (money, groceries, gift donations).

Bibles for the Bibless

A basket is available in the Narthex for any extra Bibles which you might have that are not being used.
