The Rev. Helen Belcher - Priest-in-Charge

Helen is delighted to be back at St Peter’s as the interim Priest-in-Charge. From 1992-1997 Helen was the full time associate at St Peter’s. In those days she had five active children. Now that they are all grown and have homes of their own, she is enjoying nine wonderful grandchildren. Helen was the Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Calgary until 2006. Her husband serves the parish of St George’s in the Pines in Banff. Helen is glad to be serving such a creative Christian community as St Peter’s.

Avril LeBlanc - Parish Administrator

Avril has worked at St. Peter’s since December 2006. She has been married to husband, Bill since 1979 and have three daughters, one son-in-law and one grandson. When not at work Avril enjoys cooking, curling, golfing and of course babysitting.

Chris Fullerton - Music Director

Chris has been involved with the Anglican church since he was a little boy of 7 in the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer choir. He grew up in a very musical family with both parents being long-standing members of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. After many years of playing the piano and singing in various choirs, he received a Bachelor of Music with Disctinction from the University of Calgary. He continues to sing in the Early Music Consort of Calgary, and enjoys being an active part in the musical society of Calgary. As the Director of Music, Chris always encourages people with interest to join the choir, or contact him if they wish to be a part of the musical life of St.Peter's. He was recently married at St.Peter's to his wonderful wife Tracy, so he understands the ins & outs of all the wedding procedures!

Joan Hanna - Church School Coordinator

Joan Hanna has been our church school coordinator since Sept 1999. She has been married to Grant for 26 happy years and together they have raised two daughters and one son. Joan likes to spend time with family and friends. Joan is also a volunteer for two Therapeutic Riding Associations.

Aaron Havens - Youth Coordinator

My name is Aaron. I am a recent graduate at Rocky Mountain College here in Calgary. I graduated with a BA in Leadership Development, majoring in Intercultural Studies. I have two wonderful ladies in my life, Nushin my partner and Aahliana our 7 month old daughter, both whom the Lord has blessed me with great joy. I enjoy the outdoors, and playing in the mountains. I am excited to see where it is that the Lord will take me over the next little while with St. Peter's Anglican church and the growth that He has planned for the youth of this church. I look forward to getting to know more people in St. Peter's in September and the following months and to the relationships that will be forged in the future. Thanks to those in the church for opening your doors and your hearts to me and I look forward to see where it is the Lord will lead us.
