Hello wonderful Youth of St. Peter's. Just wanted to give you all a little heads up to let you know whats going on over the next month. This coming Friday November 5th we're having a pool party, a pool party you say, the 1st week of November? No its not a polar dip, although that might be an idea for January. Come and join us for an evening of swimming and fun at the Southland Leisure Centre, there will be fun and games and lots of activities, don't forget your suit. Try and meet at the church around 6:30 pm.

This Sunday the 7th is an awesome day because confirmation is happening right here at our wonderful St. Peter's sanctuary. Some of our youth as well as myself will be confirmed to the Anglican church and it will be a cause for celebration. So please come out and join us at 4pm. There will be no morning Bible study as I will be out of town Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

The following Friday there is a gathering at Westside King's Church. Volunteers are needed for meal prep and tear down. Please meet at St. Peter's all of those who are interested, should be a blast. That Sunday I have been asked to speak at my old church, the Vietnamese Mennonite Church in the North East. Meet at the church as per usual, we'll head out when the children and youth are dismissed. The service will start at 11 am. This will be a cross-cultural experince you won't want to miss (Vietnamese love to eat and they love to share that food especially with youth) so please don't be shy and come on out. I will be able to return you home after the service.

Friday the 19th we will be preparing our prayers for the Inter generational service that will take place that Sunday the 21st. Where also going to play some games after, that I guarantee you won't want to miss and perhaps a treat or two as well. The serivce as mentioned will be Inter generational so that means that us youth will be involved throughout the service. So here is your chance to share with the rest of the congregation, an opportunity that should not be missed.

Tuesday the 23 will be a little out of the ordinary. For those that can make it Tony Campolo is speaking at Harvest Hills Alliance. This is a man who is very outspoken about Social Justice and our call as Christians to "step up" and take care of our poor, widowed, orphaned, and all of those less fortunate than us, just as Christ called us too. So come out and be challenged. It runs from 7:30-10pm, so meet at the church at 6:45pm.

On Friday the 26th come on out and conquer your fear of heights, if you have any. We're going to go climbing, not the corporate ladder but the indoor wall at the Crux. If you like to climb or have never tried it, there is something for all levels. Sunday the 28th we'll finally be getting back into our Bible study with a focus on Matthew 24:36-44 as we begin the wonderful season of Advent.

The fun, the growing and the youthful community of St. Peter's is one that you don't want to miss out on. Please come out and join us. Regardless of your age, you are never to old to have fun and grow deeper in love with Jesus. Don't be shy and bring whoever you like, the more the merrier.

Blessings and may God keep you in His bountiful love.

Aaron
